Filtration Units
Typical Application The following are types of filters and their usage: Dual Media Sand Filter : This filter is used to remove turbidity and suspended solids from raw water. Media implemented is Silica Sand & Anthracite with standard filtration rate of 10m³/hr/m² Iron/Manganese Removal Filter : This filter is used to remove iron and manganese from the raw water with different feed water pH at standard filtration rate of 10-12m³/hr/m². Activated Carbon Filter : This filter is specially designed for the absorption of soluble organic impurities found in water. SAND FILTER DESCRIPTION Sand filters have proven effective in removing several common pollutants from storm water runoff. Sand filters generally control storm water quality, providing very limited flow rate control. A typical sand filter system consists of two or three chambers or basins. The first is the sedimentation chamber, which removes floatables and heavy sediments.

Pressure Sand Filter
A Pressure Sand Filter is a key water treatment device that removes suspended solids and impurities through a bed of sand under pressure. It is widely used in industrial, commercial, and municipal applications for its efficiency in producing clear, clean water. The filter enhances water quality, protects downstream equipment, and ensures compliance with health standards. Easy to operate and maintain, it is essential for effective water purification and treatment systems.
Rapid Sand Filter
A Rapid Sand Filter is a crucial water treatment device that swiftly removes suspended particles and impurities through a deep sand bed. Water flows quickly through the sand, allowing for efficient filtration and high flow rates. Commonly used in municipal water treatment plants, it ensures the delivery of clean, safe drinking water. Rapid Sand Filters are known for their effectiveness, ease of operation, and ability to handle large volumes of water efficiently.
Activated Carbon Filter
An activated carbon filter is a device that uses activated carbon to remove impurities and contaminants from air or water. The carbon’s porous structure traps particles and chemicals, effectively reducing odors, chlorine, and volatile organic compounds. Commonly used in water purifiers and air filters, these filters enhance quality and safety by adsorbing unwanted substances, ensuring cleaner, healthier environments. Regular maintenance is key to maintaining filter efficiency.
Iron Removal Filter
An iron removal filter is designed to eliminate excess iron from water, which can cause staining and poor taste. It typically uses media such as manganese dioxide or specialized resin to oxidize and trap iron particles. This process helps to improve water quality and extend the lifespan of plumbing and appliances. Regular maintenance and filter replacement are essential to ensure optimal performance and prevent iron buildup.
Fluoride Removal Filter
A fluoride removal filter is engineered to reduce fluoride levels in water, which can cause dental and skeletal issues if consumed in excess. It typically uses activated alumina or bone char to adsorb and remove fluoride ions. By effectively filtering out fluoride, these systems improve water safety and taste. Regular maintenance and timely filter replacement are crucial to maintaining the filter’s effectiveness and ensuring clean, safe drinking water.
Micron Filtration
Micron Filtration is a type of physical filtration process where a contaminated fluid is passed through a special pore-sized cartridge to separate suspended particles from process liquid. It is also used in conjunction with various other separation processes such as ultra filtration and reverse osmosis to provide a product stream which is free of undesired contaminants.
The filters are offered in stainless/carbon steel construction compatible to standard cartridges of different micron ratings.
